Lynden Over has studied glass extensively His training was at Northland polytechnic where he completed the diploma of applied arts, majoring in glass and jewellery. On the completion of his study he continued to work in glass renting a local glass studio where he developed his own original range of collectable glassware. In 2002 Lynden, Christine and family moved to Taupo and opened Lava Glass – Glass Blowing Studio and Gallery. All work in the gallery is made on the premises.

• 1999 - Worked as assistant to Lynette Campbell, Peter Viesnik, and John Penman.
• 2000 - Producing own works from Burning Issues Gallery, Whangarei, NZ
• 2000 - Wanganui Summer School - Fritz Dreisbach
• 2001 - Wanganui Summer School - Gary Nash
• 2003 -Built own glass blowing studio
