Biodiesel Glory Hole
The new biodiesel glory hole furnace at Lava Glass runs entirely on NZ biodiesel made from NZ-grown canola oil. Lynden has invented this furnace to further reduce our use of fossil fuels.
So far we have reduced our carbon footprint by 30% by switching from an LPG main furnace to an electric main furnace. Changing the LPG-fueled glory-hole to biodiesel will reduce our footprint by a further 30%.
